The Tracer is made for modern, surf-style shredding. It combines excellent support with the tweakability you need to draw flowing carves across the whole mountain. At the heart of this boot is a commitment to fit, feel and flex. This is achieved through Nidecker's trademarked asymmetric design, with a 3D molded tongue and lacing system that runs over the flatter part of your foot to eliminate any pain. Two bomb-proof Boa dials enable you to adjust the tension between different zones, while the Silver Level Heat Moldable Liner and dual-density footbed take the comfort up another notch. Like the entire FlowFit™ range, the Tracer also offers a glove-like fit in both traditional two-strap and Flow bindings. Together with an overall flex that’s right in the sweet spot, this is the ideal boot for high speed turns, creative lines and big slashes.

Special Features
  • Articulating Flex Zone
    • Upper boot cuff is asymmetrically connected to the lower boot allowing the ankle to flex naturally while providing support without shell distortion. A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps the warm air in and the cold air out.
  • ASYM Calf Collar and Reverse Cut Liner
    • Asymmetric and anatomical design to accommodate different calf muscle shapes and guarantee a perfect fit.
  • Space Blanket
    • A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps the warmth inside and the cold outside.
  • 3D Molded Tongue
    • The asymmetrical tongue is 3D molded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridgeline of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feel of comfort and support. An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one.
  • 3D Molded Toebox
    • This 3D toebox eliminates extra layers and seams around the forefoot for durablility and a streamlined, bulk-free design. It also makes easier to slide in and out of your bindings.
  • ASYM3F: Fit - Feel - Flex
    • An asymmetric shape and closure system for optimum support and flex, aligned along the asym tongue. Boa® lace guides are asymmetrically positioned on the flatter forefoot areas for less point-loaded pressure and more even closure. This increases medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramps. This Nidecker innovation is co-developed with and approved by Boa®.

  • 3D Molded Single Density Insole
    • Pre-molded and anatomically shaped comfortable EVA supports your feet, and a silicone top print adds traction to the fleece-lined footbed
  • B.F.T. VIBRAM ASCENT Outsole
    • Nidecker's lightweight, ergonomic, high-performance, 4-part B.F.T. VIBRAM ASCENT outsole combines special, high-traction Vibram rubber and a new tread design for excellent grip in all conditions, with a  lightweight EVA midsole and N-Gel cushioning in the heel for an unmatched comfort-performance ratio.
